They had a makeshift logo and some basic powerpoint templates. They wanted to move away from these and create a more contemporary logo and branding materials that will appeal more to the local market and give them greater opportunities for partnerships and engagement with the Byron Bay community.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT | CONCEPT | DESIGN | CREATIVE DIRECTION
In order to deliver this, a simple brand positioning definition was crucial in ensuring a strategically sound outcome. This was created and used as the guide in creating all the branding, identity, and comms collateral for the brand.
Working closely with the client, the brand positioning was optimized, and a detailed document outlining the brand’s DNA was developed. Final deliverables were: a new logo, brand style guide, branded templates, and website design framework.
This was a very successful branding project. Its growth rate was more than the client had anticipated, and was a pleasant surprise that keeps on giving up to this day. A lot of traction and interest has been gained since day one of the launch, including recognition from the Prime Minister of Australia. A real do-good feel-good project from start to finish.
